Griffiths + Associates is a multidisciplinary advisory and audit firm, and a member of PrimeGlobal, one of the largest associations of independent accounting firms and business advisors in the world. This means we combine a personalized approach with multinational support across 100 countries.

Though we specialize in certain industry niches – finance, gaming, shipping & aviation, hospitality, education, healthcare, property – our experienced team are skilled at providing corporate services, accounting, assurance, tax, legal advisory and advisory solutions across the entire business spectrum; our clients – individuals and corporate, local and foreigners.

Impeccable reputation and high-quality services are our core values. We deliver excellence in all that we do, and it applies for absolutely everything including our audit internship program.

Benefits Of The Internship Program

Our program is skills-centred designed, and consequently, ensured that students and recent grads get the most out of the program.  That’s the result of our focus to ensure that the internship program can help students build a solid foundation for their careers, and also consider our own needs. Such an approach with the dual objective enables both, the intern and our company, to get the most out of the program.

It is not a secret that most companies, especially big ones, use audit interns to perform general clerical work or at best, they will be tasked with supporting more senior staff members by performing general accounting work and observing how audits are carried out in the real world. And not everyone is given opportunities to work on its own assignment, which can really help to gain valuable experience.

Our work approach is different, Griffiths + Associates Audit Program includes following tasks:

Familiarity with our Audit Management Software:

We use one of the best fintech solutions on the EU market tailored to our company’s needs with all of the required features at hand, plus customized audit templates and reports.

You will see how the Audit Management Software provides documentation management, allows reports to be generated automatically and saves our time, and we shall provide the necessary training to enable you to use the software efficiently and effectively.

Undertaking Audit Work:

In brief, auditing involves going through the clients’ financial documents (General Ledger and primary documentation) to ensure that figures tabulated in “Management Accounts” are free of material misstatement.

This auditing work will test your eye for detail as you must carefully examine records to spot errors.

Analysis and Assessment, Preparation of Financial Statements:

Such a task requires the use of a variety of financial reporting documents using available client data, such as general ledgers, journal entries, payroll documents, accounts payable records, accounts receivable data, stock lists, and others.

Preparing financial reports will help you to learn how to work with data from various sources to establish a client’s overall financial performance and position.

Preparation of Tax Returns & Tax Refund Claim Forms:

Tax law is complex and nuanced, and tax submission is always evolving.

Delegating this task provides key professional experience that for sure will come in the future as taxes are the bread and butter of many financial accounting practices.

We’re committed to prepare you today to be successful tomorrow.

Partnership program

Our invitation to cooperation extends to all the EU Educational Institutions who are interested in providing their students with relevant work experience in Auditing through overseas internship schemes.

This higher education collaboration is under the Erasmus+ Mobility Program that supports transnational partnerships among Education institutions and businesses to foster cooperation and bridge the worlds of education and work.

This program is unique from a personal as well as an academic point of view. Being in an international environment for a few months is the best opportunity to establish intercultural contacts, obtain valuable insight into a different culture, learn a language and grow as a person.

The program allows what it means to live and work alongside people from another culture, and to develop the skills and versatility that are vital especially in the present uneasy environment.

Prof. Tomasz Doroźyński, Manager of the Faculty Centre for Training and Apprenticeship

We already have a great positive experience of such cooperation with the University of Lodz, Faculty of Economics and Sociology:

“Our cooperation with Griffiths + Associates has given the students of the University of Lodz a great deal of valuable work experience accumulated over the time they spent with the company as interns. All of them assessed these apprenticeships and internships as extremely useful, highlighted deep commitment of the company staff to the program, and appreciated great atmosphere and, above all, the opportunity to acquire unique knowledge and practical skills in real-life international business environment.” – Prof. Tomasz Doroźyński, Manager of the Faculty Centre for Training and Apprenticeship.

We are open to new Partners and aimed at long-term mutually beneficial cooperation.
