We are glad to announce a new opportunity to apply for the EU fund under the Horizon Europe provided by European Institute of Innovation and Technology (EIT) and invite young and talented women – innovators playing a leading role in developing solutions/initiatives addressing manufacturing – related challenges to take part in a competition organised by EIT Manufacturing’s RIS programme and win the prizes in the amount of:
- EUR 10.000
- EUR 7.500
- EUR 5.000
The manufacturing industry is a key to European economic, social and environmental sustainability and a main driver of industrial innovation, job creation and growth for the European society.
It creates over 2.1 million manufacturing enterprises in Europe, providing over 32 million jobs.
Being an integral part of the EU’s key funding programme Horizon Europe and following the Strategic Innovation Agenda 2021-2027, the EIT Manufacturing community offers a wide range of innovation and entrepreneurship activities across Europe, supports start – ups, scale – ups and Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs).
Applicants of the EU fund assigned by EIT Manufacturing are able to experience the forth industrial revolution and improve the European manufacturing industry implementing their progressive ideas.
The Open RIS CALL – Leader competition encourages women professionals, researchers and entrepreneurs from EIT RIS eligible countries, who have played a leading role in developing innovative manufacturing – related solutions with strong financial, environmental, or societal impact and proves that gender – is not an obstacle for the leadership.
To apply for the LEADERS – Women Innovators in Manufacturing at EIT RIS completion a leading role women innovators needs to present their projects or innovative solution/ initiative.
The call is open for females being either citizens of or residents in one of the following EIT RIS eligible countries: Bulgaria, Croatia, Cyprus, Czech Republic, Estonia, Greece, Hungary, Italy, Latvia, Lithuania, Malta, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain.
The competition consists of two selection rounds.
In the first round the applicants submit an online application form about their solution/initiative.
Based on these the best 30 candidates will be selected.
At the second round, the pre-selected 30 candidates submit a comprehensive application form complemented with a video pitch.
Finally, six candidates will be selected and invited to the awarding ceremony.
Awarding ceremony: selection of 3 candidates who will receive a prize.
